基本上 Focus NIGHT & DAY 鏡片可安全連續佩戴30天而毋須每天清潔或消毒鏡片，非常方便及省時。不過，視光師會因應每個佩戴者之眼睛健康狀況及生活習慣建議佩戴模式或建議佩戴者按時為鏡片清潔消毒。
Focus NIGHT & DAY 為何可以連續戴30天日夜不用除？
長戴式隱形眼鏡是否可連續日夜佩戴不用除，需取決於很多因素。但最基本的首要條件是要能夠提供足夠的氧氣給眼睛，亦即是鏡片必須擁有足夠的透氧量(Dk/t)。
根據最新的研究顯示，隱形眼鏡透氧量必須高於125才可讓佩戴者安全地戴著睡眠。但是若透氧量低於125，則不符合最基本的條件。
Focus NIGHT & DAY 透氧量為175，遠高於基本標準。
再加上其突破性的物料設計 lotrafilcon A ，足以令 Focus NIGHT & DAY 成為真真正正的長戴式軟性隱形眼鏡
